Mike and LaDona Blue have been involved in full time ministry for 40 years together and each were involved in ministry before they even met!
Mike's love for youth ministry was an easy fit with LaDona's childrens ministry when they met and were married in 1980. Mike was a young minister and youth pastor at the time, and together they combined their loves for children and youth and spent the next several years doing youth camps, youth rallies, kids camps, kids crusades, and a wide variety of similar events.
Their ministries since have also led them to pastor in 5 different churches and to preach at conventions, campmeetings, revivals and conferences all across America. they have also made missions trips to Sierra Leone, West Africa, Costa Rica, Haiti, The Philippines and Mexico.
The Blue's presently reside in O'fallon, Illinois and have 2 grown children and four grandchildren.
- Meet LaDona Blue -
Children's ministry has been her passion for over forty years! LaDona started a children's church her her home church long before the concept became common in most churches. Local pastors started calling and asking her to do a program in their churches. Since most small churches didn't have the people or resources to do a full VBS program, LaDona developed a portable program she called Kid's Crusade! She and her brother, Alan Harris, began travelling together doing these kid's crusades across the country.
She graduated from Southeast Missouri State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and worked in public and private schools for many years.
- Meet Mike Blue -
Mike has a somewhat dramatic testimony of how he became a Christian and has traveled the country sharing his story of God's amazing grace!
He received his call into ministry after the Lord had led him to attend Free Gospel Bible Institute (a small Bible college in Export, Pa). Later he completed his education at Greenville University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership.
